Care Information

Caring for your Earrings & Homewares

Please take good care of your HyperResin goodies.

Handmade items can be fragile. Handle with care and avoid dropping.

Please store in a cool, dark, dry place.

Clear and white resin can yellow over time and colours can fade when over exposed to sunlight.

Please hold the front of the earring and the earring back firmly when removing your earring.

Please remove your earrings before bathing and physical activity ie, sports.

Your earrings should avoid direct contact with perfumes, cosmetics and lotions.

Resin doesn't like heat. Please avoid hot temperatures and open flames.

Food. The Saftey Data Sheets for the resin I use suggests our homewares (resin art dishes, plates, platters and cupcake towers) are all safe to be used for cold food serving and preparation. Our Homewares are not dishwasher safe.

To clean. Resin and acrylic may scratch easily. Please use non abrasive cleaning materials. Wipe down with a dry, clean microfiber cloth.

To polish. You can use polishing pastes like Flitz or household items like Vaseline and a microfiber cloth to maximise the shine.

Travelling. I suggest storing in a jewellery case/ wallet specifically designed for jewellery.

Unique. Please note that our products are handmade.  This means there may be slight differences/ imperfections. This is the beauty of handmade, every piece is unique and different to the next.

Choking hazard. Please keep out of reach of small children. Whilst we love all ages wearing our earrings and accessories please make sure it is always under guardian supervision.

Caring for your HyperResin™️ Silicone Moulds

Creating moulds for others to use has been something I have wanted to do for a long time. Our original designs are now all created and crafted in house.

You will want to care for your silicone moulds so they last however silicone moulds do not last forever.

Our silicone moulds are made from Pinkysil and ArtSil silicone.

I get this question a lot. Which type of resin do I use? You will want to use a epoxy casting resin. There are many different types and brands of resin on the market. What works for me may not work for you.

Store your moulds flat and on a level surface. I would suggest cling wrapping your moulds to prevent them collecting dust.

Heat can cause moulds to breakdown faster than usual. Please avoid applying open flame to your moulds.

Please store your moulds in a dry, cool place and away from direct sunlight.

Do not cut your moulds. This may cause the mould to loose shape.

Wash your moulds with warm mild soapy water. Dry your moulds before storing.

Try not to scratch your moulds. Moving glitter may scratch your moulds. Layered resin pours may wear your moulds unevenly.

Avoid cleaning with alcohol and isocol. Alcohol will dry and stain your moulds.

Your moulds are not dishwasher safe.

You can use a silicone releasing agent and a mould conditioner to aid and prolong the life of your mould.

Original designs are that, our 100% original designs. We do not allow you to reproduce our original mould designs for any resale of moulds. However we do allow you to sell the pieces you create from our moulds as a finished product.
